MAVRIC Week is an event where we invite artists
to perform with their fellow nominees of the same category together in the
same venue on an afternoon or night. With 17 events occurring in 10 days at several venues throughout Ventura County, the 2008 MAVRIC Week was a great success! Artists received an opportunity to perform, fans had an opportunity to listen to their favorite music live, and the local economy and venues received a great boost!
MAVRIC Week allows artists to advertise their music for the online portion of the voting.
It also allows the artists to get to know their musical peers of the same
category, which is one of the main reasons why the MAVRIC awards were created
– to build a better and stronger artistic community in Ventura County
that helps the area’s artists receive recognition for their outstanding
talent. One of the most integral parts in accomplishing this is by building
a better infrastructure, and that begins with the knowledge and network between
you and your fellow local musicians.
